A place to discover
Housed in an emblematic 19th-century bourgeois house, the museum overlooks the Loire, the primary source of inspiration for the writer of the Extraordinary Journeys cycle. From the terrace, take in the landscapes that inspired his imagination, then extend your visit to the garden.
Temporary exhibitions
The museum regularly puts on a new temporary exhibition as part of its visitor itinerary. It extends the theme of the permanent exhibition, exploring the different facets of Jules Verne’s work.

QUALITÉ TOURISME is a brand created by the Ministry of Tourism. Professionals who display this mark implement the most rigorous quality approach and are regularly subject to independent control of their services. Awarded to the Musée Jules Verne in 2014, this label was renewed in 2017.
