The museum is open on public holidays, with the exception of 1 January, 1 May, 1 November and 25 December.

Group visit
Are you bringing a group or a class? To make sure your visit is as comfortable as possible, the Jules Verne Museum has set aside special times for you, and we would ask you to observe the following rules:
- To make sure your visit is as comfortable as possible, groups are limited to a maximum of 25 people (or 30 school groups).
- It is compulsory to book a time slot using the pre-booking form (the museum’s telephone reception is reserved for information and enquiries).
- Due to the busy summer period, group visits are not possible in July and August.
Pass musées

A unique Museums Pass for free access to all the museums in Metropolitan France.
Priced at €15, this Pass offers unlimited access for one year to the Jules Verne Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Art Museum, the History Museum (Château des Ducs de Bretagne) and the Chronographe.
The Pass is valid for both permanent and temporary exhibitions, inviting visitors to come and return again and again to the many exhibitions on show throughout the year.

Terms and conditions of access
- The museum’s internal rules Nouvelle fenêtre apply to all visitors.
- The museum is not air-conditioned. Opening times are subject to change during periods of extreme heat.
- The entire tour route is accessible to people with reduced mobility (with the exception of the garden).
- The museum has no cloakrooms or lockers. Luggage and/or bulky objects are therefore not permitted.
- Dogs are not allowed, even on a lead.
- A changing table is available.
- You can fill your water bottle at the water fountain.
